Jormin Lin (Chinese Dance)
Jormin LinJormin Lin has been with Dancing Sun for over twenty years, both as a dancer and a teacher. She has had a passion for dancing since a very early age, studying with Tsai-Ouh Lee in Taiwan. As a teacher at Hsin Hsing Elementary School, Ms. Lin was director of a student dance group whose performances she both choreographed and produced. She joined Dancing Sun as a dancer; however, her fondness for teaching quickly led her to become assistant instructor to Bih Tau Sung. Jormin choreographs with her students in mind, combining classic Chinese and Taiwanese techniques with elements of modern dance, creating a uniquely original dance form that is both rooted in tradition and contemporary. Her many years of experience teaching young children allows her to both inspire and excite her students, and this energy comes through in their spirited performances. She presently teaches at the School of Dancing Sun.
